3.1 Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the internet browser or by the internet browser on a user's computer system. When a user visits a website, a cookie may be stored on the user's operating system. In the event of a login, this cookie contains a characteristic string of characters that ensures a unique identification of the browser for the duration of the login. As a rule, cookies are used to manage website metadata and do not contain any personal data.

We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Some of our website functions cannot be offered without the use of cookies. Processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in the above-mentioned purposes.

The data collected from you in this way is pseudonymized by technical precautions. It is therefore no longer possible for us, as the website operator, to assign the data to you personally. The data is not stored together with other personal data collected by us.

Cookies are stored on your computer. Therefore, you have full control over the use of cookies. By selecting the appropriate technical settings in your internet browser, you can prevent the storage of cookies and transmission of the data they contain. Cookies that have already been stored can be deleted at any time. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. The following links will show you how to manage cookies (including how to disable them) in the most popular browsers: Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari.

3.2 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyze website usage. The data obtained is used to optimize our website and advertising efforts.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service operated and provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), a company incorporated and operated under the laws of Ireland (registration number: 368047), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google processes the website usage data on our behalf and is contractually obliged to take measures to ensure the confidentiality of the processed data.

During your visit to our website, the following data, among other things, is recorded:

This data is transferred to Google servers in the United States. We would like to point out that the same level of data protection as in the EU cannot be guaranteed in the United States under data protection law. Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years from your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID that allows you to be recognized on future visits to the site. The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which enables the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form for an indefinite period.

The Google Analytics service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our website. The legal basis is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DS-GVO. If you do not agree with the collection, you can prevent it with the one-time installation of the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics.

3.3 Google Ads

This website also uses conversion tracking. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), a company incorporated and operated under the laws of Ireland (registration number: 368047), with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Ads places a cookie on your computer if you have reached our website via a Google ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Google Ads customer's website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked via the websites of Google Ads customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking.

Google Ads customers are informed of the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and been redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that could be used to personally identify users.

The legal basis for the use of this Google service is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie that is necessary for this – for example, by using a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.ads.google.com”. Google's privacy policy for conversion tracking can be found here.

3.4 Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), a company incorporated and operated under the laws of Ireland (registration number: 368047), with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). This organizational tool makes it possible to integrate and manage various tracking tools centrally. Code sections, also known as tags, are inserted into the source text of the website for this purpose, for example to track user activities, support marketing tools, set cookies and track users across different websites.

We use Google Tag Manager to make maintaining our website more efficient and to provide a better user experience. This tool allows us to easily integrate the necessary scripts and manage them from a central location without the need for programming knowledge.

Google Tag Manager itself does not store any data or set any cookies. The data collected by the implemented tags is forwarded directly to the corresponding tracking tools, such as Google Analytics. Please refer to the data protection texts of the individual analysis and tracking tools to find out which data is collected, stored and processed.

In the account settings of the tag manager, we have allowed Google to receive anonymized data, but this is only about the use of the tag manager itself and not about your personal data, which is collected via the implemented code sections. We consent to the anonymous sharing of website data, whereby Google deletes all information that could identify our website. The collected data is merged anonymously with other website data to analyze trends and optimize processes.

3.5 Google Remarketing

This website uses Google Remarketing, an advertising analysis tool. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), a company incorporated and operated under the laws of Ireland (registration number: 368047), with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google uses cookies, which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google then shortens the IP address by the last three digits, so that a clear assignment of the IP address is no longer possible. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Third-party vendors, including Google, show ads on sites on the internet. Third-party providers, including Google, use stored cookies to place ads based on a user's previous visits to this website. Google will never associate your IP address with other Google data. You can opt out of the collection and storage of data at any time with effect for the future. You can disable the use of cookies by Google by visiting the page for disabling Google advertising. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.

This service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our website and to address individual users with remarketing campaigns. The legal basis is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DS-GVO. You can object to the collection and storage of data at any time with effect for the future. Further information about Google's terms and conditions can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

3.6 Google Web Fonts

This website uses Google Fonts for the uniform display of fonts. Google Fonts is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), a company incorporated and operated under the laws of Ireland (registration number: 368047), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

Google Fonts play a significant role in maintaining the quality of our website. All Google fonts are automatically optimized for web use, which results in efficient data transfer and is particularly advantageous for mobile devices. The small file size of Google fonts ensures that our website loads quickly, which has a positive effect on the user experience.

The Google Fonts are installed locally on our server. A connection to Google servers does not take place.

3.7 YouTube

We embed YouTube videos in our online offering, which are stored at www.youtube.com and can be played directly from our website. YouTube is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

YouTube automatically records your IP address, the date and time of access, as well as information about the website you visited and the video you viewed. This occurs regardless of whether you are logged in to YouTube via a user account or not. In addition, a connection to the Google advertising network is established.

If you access one of our websites with an embedded YouTube video without playing the video, no data will be transferred to YouTube for the time being, provided that YouTube's “advanced privacy mode” is activated. Data will only be transferred when you start the video.

We use a cookie to store your settings regarding video playback and data transfer to YouTube. These cookies do not contain any personal data, but are used only to customize your browser.

If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube can link the connection information with your YouTube account and use it for personalized advertising. For more information, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy: .

We use YouTube to be able to show you videos on our websites. The legal basis for the processing is your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

3.8 Facebook Social Plugin

Our website uses social plugins (“plugins”) from the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). The plugins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue tile, the terms “Like”, “Like” or a “thumbs up” sign) or are marked with the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. The list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be viewed here. When a user accesses a page of this website that contains such a plugin, his browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and incorporated by this into the website. The provider therefore has no influence on the amount of data that Facebook collects using this plugin, and therefore informs users according to his knowledge.

By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the offer. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Like button or posting a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will obtain and store their IP address. According to Facebook, only anonymized IP addresses are stored in Germany.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as the related rights and setting options for protecting the privacy of users, can be found in Facebook's privacy policy. If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about him via this offer and link it to his stored member data, he must log out of Facebook before visiting this website.

The purpose of processing your data on our profile page on the respective social network is to provide information about our offers and services and to answer any questions on our profile page. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR. In this respect, public relations work is covered by our legitimate interests within the meaning of the regulation. If you use a social plugin that we have integrated, the legal basis is your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

3.9 Facebook Website Customer Audiences

On our website, we use the “Website Custom Audiences” pixel from the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”).

So-called tracking pixels are integrated into our pages. When you visit our pages, the tracking pixel establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Among other things, Facebook receives the information that our site has been accessed from your device. If you are a Facebook user, Facebook can assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or how it is used by Facebook. Our influence is limited to which segments of Facebook users (such as age, interests) our advertising should be displayed. We use one of two Custom Audiences methods in which no data records, in particular no email addresses of our users – neither encrypted nor unencrypted – are transmitted to Facebook.

Even if you are not registered with Facebook or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will obtain and store your IP address and other identifying information.

For more information, please see Facebook's privacy policy. If you wish to object to the use of Facebook Website Custom Audiences, you can do so here.

The use of Custom Audience is based on your consent given to us in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR.

3.10 Facebook – conversion tracking with the conversion pixel

Our website uses the “conversion pixel” or visitor activity pixel of Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). However, according to Facebook, the data collected is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

Conversion pixels allow us to track the behavior of site visitors who have been redirected to our site after clicking on a Facebook ad. This enables us to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and to optimize future advertising efforts.

The data we collect is anonymous and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the identity of the user. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a link to the respective user profile can be created. Facebook may use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with its data protection guidelines, which allows the placement of advertisements on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. This use of the data is beyond our control as a site operator.

The use of conversion pixels is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or for measures preliminary to a contract. Insofar as a corresponding consent has been obtained (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing takes place exclusively according to Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO; this consent can be revoked at any time.

Data is transferred to the US on the basis of the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. You can find further details at: www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum and de-de.facebook.com/help/566994660333381.

You can find more information about protecting your privacy in Facebook's data protection information: de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You also have the option to disable the remarketing function “Custom Audiences” in the ad settings at www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can disable usage-based advertising from Facebook on the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website: www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

3.11 Usercentrics Consent Management

We use the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform on our website as a consent management tool as part of our analytics activities. The service provider is the German company Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Straße 7, 80331 Munich, Germany.

The Usercentrics Consent Management Platform uses JavaScript to collect log file and consent data. This JavaScript makes it possible to inform the user about his consent to certain tags on our website, to obtain, manage and document this consent.

The following data is collected during the processing of the consent: anonymized logbook data (consent ID, processor ID, controller ID), consent status and timestamp, data from the devices used (including abbreviated IP addresses (IP v4, IP v6), device information and timestamp) and user data (including email, ID, browser information, setting IDs, changelog). The ConsentID (contains the above-mentioned data) and the consent status including timestamp are stored in your browser's local memory and simultaneously on the cloud servers used. Further processing will only take place in the event of a request for information or revocation of your consent.

No user information is stored for the statistical evaluation of the consent given or not given. Only the frequency and locations of clicks are logged.

The personal data is stored on a Google Cloud Server based in the EU (Brussels, Frankfurt am Main).

The purpose of processing your data is to analyze and manage the consents granted in order to fulfill our obligation of GDPR-compliant consent management. The use of Usercentrics serves the purpose of providing proof of granted and not granted consents as well as their administration. The legal basis for the management of your consent to the processing of your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the legally secure documentation and verifiability of consent, the targeting of marketing measures based on the consent given, and the optimization of consent rates.

3.12 X (formerly Twitter)

We have integrated X functions into our website. These are, for example, embedded tweets, timelines, buttons or hashtags. X is a short message service and a social media platform of the American company X Corp., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900 San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. For the European area, the company Twitter International Unlimited Company (One Cumberland Place, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, D02 AX07, Ireland) is responsible for processing personal data.

The pages of our website that contain X social plugins establish a direct connection with the X servers via your browser when you open them. This notifies X that you have accessed the page of our website containing the social plugin. If you are logged into X at this time, your visit to our pages and all your interactions in connection with the social plugins (e.g. clicking the “X” button) can be assigned to your X profile and stored by X. Even if you do not have an X profile, it cannot be ruled out that X stores your IP address.

Please refer to the X data protection guidelines for information on the purpose and scope of data collection and the processing and use of data by Twitter. These guidelines also contain an overview of the settings options in your personal X profile for protecting your privacy and your associated rights. To prevent Twitter from collecting the above data during your visit to our website, please log out of Twitter before visiting our site.

There is a possibility that X processes the data obtained outside the scope of the European General Data Protection Regulation. However, by participating in the Privacy Shield Framework, X ensures compliance with an appropriate level of data protection in the EU: Privacy Shield Framework.

We have a legitimate interest in using X to ensure fast and good communication with you or other customers and business partners. The corresponding legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If the appropriate consent has been obtained (e.g. consent to store cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR; this consent can be withdrawn at any time.

3.13 Spotify

With your consent, we use the so-called “Spotify pixel” of the music streaming service Spotify on our website.

On the one hand, the use of the Spotify pixel enables Spotify to determine the visitors to our online offering as a target group for the presentation of ads (so-called “Spotify ads”). Accordingly, by using the Spotify pixel, we pursue the purpose of only displaying the Spotify ads we have placed to those Spotify users who have also shown an interest in our online offering or who exhibit certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Spotify (so-called “custom audiences”). This is also to ensure that our Spotify ads match the potential interest of the users and are not perceived as annoying. The Spotify pixel's “conversion” tool also allows us to track your actions after you have seen or clicked on a Spotify ad. This is for monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of our Spotify ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users.

The Spotify pixel is a tracking bug. Tracking bugs are small graphics that enable log file recording and log file analysis. Spotify uses standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and relies on adequacy decisions regarding certain countries to legitimize data transfers from the European Economic Area to the United States or other third countries. Details can be found at .

However, it cannot be ruled out that US authorities in particular may access the data stored at Spotify. You may have no legal recourse against access by authorities. By consenting to the use of the Spotify pixel, you also expressly consent to the transfer of your personal data to a third country – such as the USA (Art. 49 (1) 1 (a) GDPR).

We have no influence on the extent and further use of the data collected by Spotify through the use of this service and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge: Through the integration of the Spotify pixel, Spotify receives the information that you have clicked on one of our ads or accessed the corresponding page of our website. If you are registered with a Spotify service, Spotify can assign the visit to your user account. Spotify may use this information for the purposes of advertising, market research and designing Spotify advertisements to meet demand. To this end, Spotify and its partners create profiles of use, interests and relationships, for example to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Spotify, to inform other Spotify users about your activities on our website and to provide further services associated with the use of Spotify. Spotify uses the following data in particular to create targeted advertising:

For this purpose, cookies may also be stored on your end device. Even if you are not registered with Spotify or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will obtain and store your IP address and other identifiers.

If you are registered with Spotify, you can control which types of ads are displayed to you within Spotify by visiting the page set up by Spotify and following the instructions on usage-based advertising settings: .

The settings are platform-independent, which means they are adopted for all end devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.

For information on the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Spotify, as well as your rights and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Spotify's data protection information. Further information can be found at www.spotify.com/de/privacy.

If you have given us your consent, this consent is the legal basis for the use of the Spotify pixel and the associated processing of personal data (Art. 6 (1) subpara. 1 (a) GDPR). If information is stored or accessed on your end device (e.g. by cookies), your consent in accordance with Section 25 (1) TTDSG also forms the relevant legal basis for this.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. If you wish to deactivate the tracking of the Spotify pixel or revoke your consent, please uncheck the box under Cookie Settings for the “Spotify Pixel” service.

3.14 TikTok Pixel

We use the TikTok Pixel on our website. The TikTok Pixel is a TikTok Advertiser Tool provided by TikTok Technology Limited, 10 Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin, D02 T380, Ireland, and TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited, WeWork, 125 Kingsway, London, WC2B 6NH, United Kingdom (collectively, “TikTok”). The TikTok pixel is a JavaScript code snippet that enables us to understand and track the activities of visitors to our website. To do this, the TikTok pixel collects and processes information about the visitors to our website or the devices they use. The data collected via the TikTok pixel is used to target our ads and to improve ad delivery and personalized advertising. For this purpose, the data collected on our website using the TikTok pixel is transmitted to TikTok. Some of this data is information stored on the device you are using. In addition, cookies are also used via the TikTok pixel, which store information on the device you are using. Such storage of information by the TikTok pixel or access to information already stored on your device will only take place with your consent.

For more information about how TikTok processes personal data, including the legal basis on which TikTok relies and how you can exercise your rights with respect to TikTok, please refer to TikTok's privacy policy at .

4 Protection of minors

Consent to the processing of personal data can only be given by a person of legal age. For services provided by ALLERGOPHARMA GmbH & Co. KG, the consent of a child aged sixteen or over is permissible in accordance with Art. 8 DSGVO.

5 Changes to our privacy policy

In order to ensure that our data protection declaration always complies with current legal requirements, we reserve the right to make changes at any time. This also applies in the event that the data protection declaration has to be adapted due to new or revised services, for example new services. The new data protection declaration will then take effect on your next visit to our website.

6 Rights of the data subject

According to the provisions of the GDPR, you have the following rights:

To exercise any of these rights, or if you have any further questions about personal data, you can contact us at any time at datenschutz@dermapharm.com or using the contact details provided in section 1.2 above.

Regardless of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in particular in the EU member state of your place of residence, your workplace or the location of the alleged infringement – if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR or other applicable data protection laws (Art. 77 GDPR, § 19 BDSG).

10 Data transfer to third countries

Data is not transferred to locations in countries outside the European Union (so-called third countries) (Note: Please refer to the information on this in Section 3).

11 Use of automated decision-making or profiling

We do not use fully automated decision-making or profiling in accordance with Article 22 of the GDPR. Should we use these procedures in individual cases, we will inform you of this separately, provided that this is required by law. (Note: Please refer to the information provided in sections 4-6).
